Part of the Jilin-1 constellation's ongoing 2019 expansion, contributing to China's largest commercial Earth observation network. Each Jilin-1 satellite added incremental coverage and revisit capability, building toward the constellation's eventual goal of imaging any location on Earth multiple times daily — a capability that by the 2020s would place Jilin-1 among the most operationally active commercial imaging constellations in the world.
