Part of the December 9, 2022 Jielong 3 launch batch, one of the final Gaofen-03D satellites deployed that year as Chang Guang closed out an extraordinarily productive twelve months of constellation expansion. By year-end 2022, the combined effect of multiple large batch launches had transformed Jilin-1 from a promising commercial program into unambiguously the largest Chinese commercial satellite constellation and one of the largest in the world.
