One of eight Gaofen-03D satellites and one Pingtai satellite launched together December 9, 2022 aboard the Jielong 3 rocket — a batch that continued Chang Guang's relentless late-2022 constellation build-out. This mission's mixed payload, combining imaging satellites with an experimental platform satellite, reflects the increasingly sophisticated mission planning behind what began as a simple four-satellite technology demonstration in 2015.
