COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation launches Italy's next chapter in radar Earth observation. CSG-1 can image in spotlight mode at 40 cm resolution — among the world's sharpest radar satellites. Italy operates one of the most sophisticated dual-use Earth observation systems in the world, serving both scientific and national security missions from the same constellation.
