Second satellite in the Kuanfu wide-swath imaging sub-series, providing 50 cm resolution across an 85-mile footprint — a specification that trades some resolution for dramatically expanded coverage compared to Jilin-1's high-resolution Gaofen line. Kuanfu-01B's wide-area context imaging complements the narrower, sharper Gaofen-03D satellites, giving Chang Guang customers a choice between broad regional surveys and pinpoint detailed imagery depending on the application.
