One of the Yaogan-35 (01) group satellites, launched in 2021 as part of a distinct new Chinese reconnaissance satellite family operating at the lower-altitude, 35°-inclination orbital regime pioneered by the Yaogan-30 program. Yaogan-35 groups combine optical, SAR, and possibly ELINT sensors in mixed formations rather than the single-sensor-type triplets of earlier Yaogan generations, reflecting an evolution toward multi-role reconnaissance groupings.
