Part of the Yaogan-35 group 04 formation, one of the satellites completing China's fourth mixed-sensor reconnaissance group of this newer generation. As Yaogan-35 groups multiply, they progressively add both naval ELINT-style triangulation coverage and additional imaging capability across the same low-altitude orbital band the older Yaogan-30 fleet has occupied since 2017.
