Fourth of the second Yunhai-2 batch, launched together with five sister satellites in March 2024 aboard a single Long March 2D. The repeated six-satellite deployment strategy — first used in 2018, now repeated in 2024 — reflects China's preference for establishing complete constellation coverage in a single launch rather than incrementally building capacity satellite by satellite over years.
