One of Spire Global's LEMUR-2 constellation — compact 3U CubeSats that do three remarkable things simultaneously from a single spacecraft the size of a shoebox. Each LEMUR-2 collects GPS radio occultation data to probe atmospheric temperature and humidity globally, listens to AIS transponders from ships at sea to track maritime traffic, and monitors ADS-B signals from aircraft. The name TOMATOKECHUP continues Spire's tradition of giving constellation satellites names that are memorable precisely because they're absurd. With hundreds of LEMUR satellites in orbit, Spire has built one of the world's most prolific atmospheric sounding networks — and this is one node in that planetary instrument.
