GPS BIII-7 (PRN 01), part of GPS's most significant hardware redesign in decades — the generation built after Selective Availability was already permanently switched off in 2000, giving these satellites three times the positioning accuracy of the legacy GPS satellites it's gradually replacing, built on a modernized Lockheed Martin satellite bus that traces its lineage back through the entire history of GPS constellation modernization since the 1990s.
