One of the later UFO constellation satellites, incorporating a GBS (Global Broadcast Service) payload — one of the first attempts to deliver video and data broadcasting to military units in the field via satellite. The GBS concept proved so valuable that it drove the development of the high-capacity WGS system. UFO-10 demonstrated that military forces in the field needed broadcast information as much as interactive comms.
