An EchoStar Ku-band satellite at 110°W — the prime orbital slot for DISH Network's direct-to-home satellite television service in the United States. The 110°W position is where DISH Network subscribers' satellite dishes are aimed to receive their television service. EchoStar-10 carries high-power Ku-band transponders delivering hundreds of DISH channels to over 8 million US homes. The 110°W position has been DISH's home address since the company launched in 1995.
