Turkey's companion broadcasting satellite providing coverage specifically optimized for Turkey's west and south — including coverage of Turkey's Black Sea coast and the Balkans — while Turksat-4A covers the east and the Middle East. Together they provide overlapping coverage of Turkey's entire territory with high signal strength for small consumer dish reception of Turkish and international television programming.
