ESA's ocean and land monitoring satellite measures sea surface temperature, ocean color, and surface topography as part of the Copernicus program. Its altimeter tracks global sea level within 3 cm — critical for detecting El Niño and La Niña cycles that drive weather worldwide. It also monitors wildfires and vegetation health across Europe and Africa.
