A high-throughput EchoStar Ka-band satellite at 97.1°W providing HughesNet broadband internet across North America. EchoStar-19 carries 138 Ka-band spot beams with over 220 Gbps of total throughput — making it the highest-capacity satellite HughesNet had ever operated when launched. It provides the satellite internet service that connects hundreds of thousands of rural American homes and businesses that cable and fiber networks have not reached.
