India's most powerful communications satellite — a 5.8-ton spacecraft with 40 Gbps Ka-band throughput, ISRO's first high-throughput satellite. GSAT-11 supports India's ambitious broadband connectivity programs extending satellite internet to rural India's schools, hospitals, and government services. With 32 user beams and 8 gateway beams, it provides enough capacity to serve millions of broadband subscribers across the subcontinent.
