Eutelsat's Ka-band satellite specifically designed to bring affordable satellite broadband to Africa and Europe simultaneously from a single spacecraft. Eutelsat Konnect uses a unique dual-coverage architecture — some spot beams focused on unserved European rural communities, others covering sub-Saharan Africa where it powers Eutelsat's affordable broadband programs. In Africa, Konnect has partnered with local distributors to provide internet access to communities that had never had any broadband connection.
