The third BeiDou-3 geostationary navigation satellite, completing the core GEO component of China's global navigation system. With three GEO satellites operational, BeiDou-3 achieves its design coverage for enhanced signal strength across the Asia-Pacific while maintaining worldwide positioning from its MEO satellites. China now operates the world's most capable regional navigation system alongside one of its global counterparts.
