The second BeiDou-3 IGSO satellite, completing the initial IGSO component of the global BeiDou-3 constellation. BeiDou-3 IGSO satellites are more powerful than BeiDou-2, providing stronger signals in urban environments and in the mountainous terrain of Central and South Asia where BeiDou has made the deepest international inroads. The combination of higher power and multi-frequency signals makes BeiDou-3 competitive with the best GPS performance available.
