A TJS satellite observed releasing a sub-satellite into GEO orbit — one of a series of Chinese GEO satellites that have deployed smaller companion objects. These deployment events, combined with the classified nature of the TJS series, have raised concerns among US Space Force analysts about potential anti-satellite capabilities being developed and tested in the geostationary belt.
