CentiSpace-2 S9 (Weili Kongjian 02-9), one of ten satellites launched together March 25, 2026 aboard a Jielong-3 rocket from a converted barge in the Yellow Sea — the tenth flight of this Chinese solid-fuel rocket, with every single launch since its 2022 debut succeeding. This satellite contributes geographic information system support for Chinese emergency response and disaster management agencies, who use the sharpened positioning data to coordinate rescue teams and resource allocation faster than standard GPS or BeiDou accuracy alone permits.
