The second NavIC satellite, extending India's navigation coverage across the subcontinent and surrounding waters. NavIC provides sub-10-meter positioning accuracy across India and 930 miles beyond its borders — covering the full range of India's strategic interests including the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and the Indo-Pakistani border region where the Kargil conflict demonstrated the strategic value of precise positioning.
