Intelsat's first Epic high-throughput satellite, combining traditional Ku-band wide-beam coverage with high-throughput Ka-band spot beams in a single spacecraft. Epic represents Intelsat's answer to ViaSat and HughesNet — bringing GEO broadband throughput competitive with LEO constellations while maintaining the wide coverage and low latency stability of GEO orbit. IS-32E covers the Americas and the Atlantic with 60 Gbps of Ka-band capacity.
