Intelsat's second Epic high-throughput satellite, providing combined wide-beam Ku-band and high-throughput Ka-band services over the Americas and the Atlantic. IS-35E is positioned to serve the critical US-Europe corridor — the most heavily trafficked transoceanic satellite route in the world. The Epic platform's simultaneous delivery of traditional broadcast services and modern broadband internet from the same spacecraft is the model for how GEO operators compete with LEO constellations.
