Yahsat's high-throughput Ka-band satellite focused on West Africa and Brazil — two of the world's fastest-growing satellite internet markets. Al Yah 3 uses 60 Ka-band spot beams to concentrate capacity where demand is highest, enabling Yahsat to offer residential and enterprise broadband at competitive prices across regions where terrestrial alternatives are years from reaching most of the population. Al Yah means 'God' in Arabic — Yahsat's name literally means 'God's Satellite.'
