The third Horizons joint satellite, targeting maritime broadband across the Pacific with Ka-band high-throughput capacity. Horizons-3E's coverage is specifically designed for the Pacific shipping lanes — the world's busiest freight route — where thousands of container ships, bulk carriers, and tankers cross daily, all requiring satellite connectivity for vessel tracking, cargo management, engine monitoring, and crew welfare internet. The Pacific maritime market was one of the first to demonstrate that satellite broadband could be a viable operational tool rather than a luxury.
