The sixth and final planned AEHF satellite, completing the most capable protected military communications architecture ever deployed. AEHF-6 provides the capacity and redundancy needed to support the full spectrum of US military global operations. Together, the six AEHF satellites have permanently replaced MILSTAR as America's nuclear and conventional protected communications backbone — a system that will define US military command and control for decades.
