The companion satellite to CX-16A, launched into the same low-inclination orbit to test coordinated small-satellite operations. Flying two Chuangxin satellites together at 29° inclination — a geometry favoring equatorial and low-latitude coverage — represents a notable departure from the polar sun-synchronous orbits of the earlier Chuangxin generation, hinting at applications beyond the original program's data-relay origins.
