Cosmos 2564 was the final GLONASS-M satellite ever launched, reaching orbit November 28, 2022 and closing out a production run of 51 spacecraft across nearly two decades. Of those 51, only about 21 remain operational today — the rest retired, lost, or replaced — as GLONASS-K and the newer, more powerful GLONASS-K2 take over the constellation's future entirely.
