UAE's primary government and commercial communications satellite, operated by Yahsat — the Abu Dhabi government-controlled satellite operator. YahSat-1A provides Ka, Ku, C, and X-band services for Emirati government communications, military connectivity, and commercial broadband across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The X-band payload specifically serves UAE and allied military communications — Yahsat has grown into one of the few non-US operators providing military satellite communications to NATO-aligned forces.
