The seventh WGS satellite, significantly enhancing capacity with improved interference mitigation and frequency hopping. WGS-7 was the first to include a Satellite Communications Payload Anomaly Resolution Team (SPART) capability for ground-commanded interference mitigation — essential as adversaries have become increasingly sophisticated at jamming military satellite links.
