The ninth WGS satellite with enhanced polar coverage extending into the Arctic Circle. WGS-9 was the first funded entirely by a coalition of international partners — Australia, Canada, Denmark, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and New Zealand collectively funded and own capacity on the satellite. A genuine allied investment in shared military communications infrastructure.
