A multiband communications satellite serving northeastern India and rural regions with Ka and Ku-band connectivity. GSAT-29 specifically targets India's most connectivity-deprived regions — Jammu and Kashmir, the Northeast states, and island territories — where terrestrial infrastructure is constrained by terrain, security considerations, or geographic isolation. Its high-power Ka-band spots concentrate capacity exactly where India's government programs need it most.
