Eutelsat's newest Hot Bird satellite at 13°E, replacing aging Hot Bird capacity with vastly higher power and additional transponders. Hot Bird 13F delivers the next generation of European DTH broadcasting — enough power to support compact 35 cm mini-dishes, Ultra HD channels that require three times the bandwidth of HD, and interactive services that require high-capacity return channels. The 13°E position remains the most valuable single geostationary slot in Europe.
