An SES hybrid satellite at 129°W providing Ku-band wide-beam coverage of North America alongside Ka-band high-throughput spot beams for aviation broadband. SES-15's Ka-band beams are specifically designed for in-flight passenger wifi across North American airspace — covering the flight routes between the continental US, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Hawaii.
