An SES high-throughput satellite at 95°E combining Ku-band wide-beam broadcasting with Ka-band spot beams for broadband across South and Southeast Asia. SES-12 brings the high-throughput broadband model to one of the world's fastest-growing satellite markets — Indonesia's 17,000 islands, the maritime routes of the South China Sea, and India's rural broadband market all within its coverage footprint. SES-12's Ka-band capacity enables maritime broadband for the world's busiest shipping lanes.
